SOUTH BEND, Ind. – According to the City of South Bend Water Works Division, there was a break in a 16-inch water main that occurred on Linden Avenue between Chicago Street and Illinois Street on Saturday, and a Boil Water Advisory was issued but was lifted on Monday.
The break caused a loss of water pressure for customers. The area of concern encompasses Lathrop Street on the north, Sample Street on the south, Mayflower Road on the west and Olive Street on the east.
