Brian Kelly: Irish at their healthiest for Fiesta Bowl

We are just 10 days away from one of the most hyped bowl game matchups this holiday: Notre Dame versus Ohio State.

Head coach Brian Kelly says we will see some familiar faces who missed a whole season of action on both sides of the ball. And there is still a chance that their leading rusher could be padded up and ready to go.

Tight end Durham Smythe is finally cleared to play football again. And defensive tackle Jarron Jones will finally see some game action without losing his eligibility for next year.

"I think the health of this football team going into this game is as good as it can be," said Brian Kelly.

Good news for the Irish's rushing attack, as CJ Prosise practiced Wednesday in no contact drills.

"He's at that point where I think when we get him down to Arizona we can pick him up and accelerate him into contact situations," said Kelly.

That means he should be ready to play. The only hurdle, his confidence after injuring his ankle.

"He's had enough time to be where we need him to be. I think we just have to get him over that hump structurally, " said Kelly.
