Icy conditions cause two vehicle crash in Cass county
BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- The Bridge Academy of Southwest Michigan is set to celebrate their official grand-opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony on August 19, according to WSJM.
Authorized by the Central Michigan University Center for Charter Schools, the academy is located inside the Michigan Works office.
The event runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and includes tours of the new space, refreshments and details about the Bridge Academy and their programs.
The academy as a whole is designed to help students bridge the gap between education and employment with a focus on career preparation and job readiness.
