Bridge work on M-139 begins Monday

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. – The Michigan Department of Transportation announced they will be repairing the M-139 bridge over the St. Joseph River in Benton Township beginning Monday, May 24.
This project will include concrete deck patching, an epoxy overlay, expansion join replacement, and concrete barrier repairs.
During construction, one lane will be open in each direction. Drivers are asked to please drive carefully through work zones.
Construction is expected to last until Friday, September 17.
