Bristol business evacuated after bomb threat

Employees of Chassix in Bristol were evacuated from their building Tuesday afternoon after a bomb threat was discovered in a bathroom, according to the Elkhart County Sheriff's Department.

Deputies were called to the business at 1:06 p.m. Tuesday after a bomb threat was found in a bathroom at the business on CR 133.

Employees were evacuated while an Indiana State Police K-9 searched the building.

No bombs or suspicious packages were located.

The company has received multiple threats over the last several months so it is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible.
