Winter is still king across Michiana for a little while longer. Some quick snow showers are likely as a cold front passes this evening as temperatures fall through the 20s. We'll see another round of snow overnight through Saturday morning as lake-effect snow takes its turn. Locations in the snow belt could pick up another 1-2" of snow, with everyone else receiving less than an inch of additional accumulation. Wind chills could fall below zero to start Saturday morning, and most of the day will feel like the single digits. Winds could gust from 30-40 mph at times Saturday. A few more snowflakes are possible overnight Saturday but those shouldn't cause too many issues.

Sunday will be breezy as well, but a new season blows in as highs will approach 50 degrees as skies clear by the late afternoon. Highs will be in the 50s and 60s for next week. A few rain showers are possible Monday night, but our best chance of rain showers is next Friday. At this point, it looks like rain showers will clear just in time for the (rescheduled) St. Patrick's Day parade in South Bend next Saturday.

Tonight: Few evening snow showers, then lake-effect snow overnight. Low 15

Tomorrow: Not fun. Lake-effect snow in the morning, then windy and cold in the afternoon. High 20.

Sunday: Breezy and much warmer. Skies clear throughout the day. High 50.

Monday: Partly sunny and very mild. High 56.
