Buchanan residents miss the American flag

BUCHANAN, Mich. -- Buchanan was missing something special this Fourth of July week.

Typically, the city hangs a large American flag between two downtown buildings.

But this year, people noticed it was missing.

We tried to get in touch with the city, but no one was available to talk.

The city did post a message on its Facebook page, saying the power truck was down so workers couldn't put up the flag.
