Business expo brings opportunity and hope to South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. --Wednesday night, the St. Joseph County Chamber of Commerce is holding its 9th Annual Business Expo at the Century Center.

Organizers say that tonight’s turnout has exceeded their expectations.

This was the first time the expo has had over 150 exhibitors, and it was also the first time the event brought over 1300 people through the doors.

Jeff Rea, President and C.E.O. of The Chamber of Commerce said, “Even through our history, our community grew because people were doing business with other businesses here; people came to support other businesses. So the opportunity to help make those connections and celebrate that and to try and grow local businesses is really important.”

The event gives businesses a chance to network with each other and the hope that they can help each other grow.
