California wildfire started by illegal campfire

CALIFORNIA — Investigators say that a Northern California wild fire was sparked by a hunter's illegal campfire that got out of control.

Flames have burned nearly 240,000 acres.

The hunter has been identified by officers but his name is being withheld pending further investigation. And he has not been arrested.

The Rim Fire, which has burned into Yosemite National Park is one of the largest wildfires in California's history.
