Can your cellphone tell you if you have cancer?

Think that you might have mouth cancer?

Researchers, at Stanford University, are working on an app to help you diagnose the disease.

According to the Huffington post, a device attached to your phone would take a picture of the inside of your mouth.

The photo would be sent to dentists who could see if any lesions might be cancerous.

The screening tool is currently being tested.

The idea is to use the scanner in places where it is hard to get a dental check-up.
