Vehicle crashes through Goodwill in Plymouth Wednesday

PLYMOUTH, Ind. -- A Jeep crashed into the Center for Career Connections portion of the Goodwill building in the 1500 block of Pilgrim Lane around 10:41 a.m. on Wednesday in Plymouth.

According to the Plymouth Police Department, the driver of the 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee was pulling into a parking spot and thought they were hitting the brake to stop when they apparently hit the accelerator pedal which sent the vehicle through the front door area of the west end training office area.

"There were approximately eight individuals in the office when the vehicle drove through," PPD said. "One person was transported to the hospital by Plymouth Paramedics and several others had minor injuries and were treated at the scene."

Emergency Medical Services, Fire, and Police crews all responded to the crash.

The manager of the Goodwill says the retail side of the store remains open.
