Carmichael competing in off-road truck racing this weekend

Motocross super star Ricky Carmichael is making his debut in off road truck racing this weekend in Michiana.

Carmichael, famous for his tricks on two wheels, will test his talents on four wheels at the Traxxas Torc series at Red Bud.

During his practice run on the track Thursday Carmichael said he was still getting used to the difference in the vehicles.

"This is a lot different than what I'm used to running around this track on. Four wheels has a lot more power and good stuff really, really fun," said Carmichael.

Carmichael may have one advantage coming into Saturday's competition. He's familiar with the Red Bud track since he competes there for motocross.
