Cash-strapped students facing higher AP exam fees

In the wake of federal budget cuts it seems some advanced placement students are smart enough to make the grade, but don't have enough cash to finish the class.

The cuts mean high school students must pay a fee for their AP exams. Some students reportedly face bills around $200.

In a few states students can use state funds to pay, but in some areas low-income students must take on the cost.

There is worry the fees will deter kids from taking AP level classes in the future.
