Cass County crash is under investigation

CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- Around 8:00 p.m. Friday night police officials were called out to the intersection of M-62 and Indian Lake in Silver Creek Township.

53-year-old Jack Baker was traveling North on Indian Lake Road into the intersection of M-62 when he was struck by 31-year-old Arturo Morales-Fiscal who was turning on to M-62.

Arturo was taken to Memorial Hospital in South Bend for treatment.

Baker and his passenger 57-year-old Anthony Curtis a resident of Berrien Center were treated at the scene and released by EMS.

All involved were wearing seat belts and it is believed that intoxicants were a factor in the crash.

This crash is still being investigated.
