Cass County Fair kicks off with draft pull

CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- Horses went wild in Cass County Sunday!
The Cass County Fair kicked off in a big way with the draft pull!
Hundreds of folks in the grandstands watched as draft horses pulled big trucks!
This is just one of the many local events that will get people through the gates.
Organizers say they focus more on motorized entertainment.
"We have a truck pull and it's more of an amateur truck pull. We have a big, professional truck pull on Tuesday night, but this is just people that fix their truck up for pulling." said Fair President, Gale Peterson.
The fair officially starts Monday with the rides opening and continues through Saturday.
