Cass County man sentenced to 24 years for dealing meth

A Cass County resident was sentenced to 294 months in federal prison and six years probation for distributing methamphetamine.

According to federal court proceedings, 39-year-old Victor Martinez-Lopez made multiple trips across the US to transport meth to northern Indiana.

The amount of drugs he transported and sold exceeded 45 kilograms, according to the US Attorney's Office.

Martinez-Lopez was sentenced on August 31.
