CASS CO., Mich. -- Police are searching for a possible murder suspect in Cass County.

Police are at a home looking for clues about a man who they believed murdered a woman there.

The Cass County Sheriff believes a man stabbed a woman to death. The victim's identity has been confirmed as Martha Sexton.

Right now, they have a home surrounded on U.S. 12 in Mason Twp. That's where police found Sexton fatally stabbed around 1:30 p.m. on Friday.

Police said this man, 59-year-old Edward Hensley of Nappanee, is a person of interest in the case.

They said he should be considered armed and dangerous. He is 6-feet tall and about 185-pounds, with gray and black hair and a mustaches. He could possibly be wearing a red shirt right now.

Neighbors said they would never expect something like this to happen.

"Nothing goes on over there.. I know the grandparents a little bit, you never really hear anything going on over there," said Ronald Smith.
