Cassopolis man dies in Jefferson Township crash

CASS COUNTY, Mich. – A Cassopolis man was pronounced dead on the scene of a crash on Robinson Road, south of Buffalo lane Friday afternoon.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were sent to the scene around 3:15 p.m.

Their investigation showed a vehicle driven by 52-year-old Daniel Dolan of Cassopolis lost control on a curve and crossed the center line. His vehicle was stuck broadside by a large grain-hauling truck.

Deputies say the driver of the grain truck, 23-year-old Conner Wright of Vandalia was not injured in the crash.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
