Cassopolis police investigating bank robbery on Broadway Street

CASSOPOLIS, Mich. - The Village of Cassopolis Police Department is investigating a bank robbery that happened just before 4 p.m. on Monday at the Fifth Third Bank at 116 S. Broadway St.

The suspect walked into the bank at 3:59 p.m. and allegedly demanded cash from the teller.

After filling plastic grocery bags with money, the suspect walked out of the bank, heading south on Broadway.

The suspect is described as an older white man who was seen wearing a brown T-shirt, black sweatpants, sandals and a motorcycle helmet.
