Caught on cam: Inmate escape

GARLAND COUNTY, Ark.-- A manhunt is on for a Garland County, Arkansas inmate who escaped Sunday and his escape was caught on surveillance video.

Derrick Estell was in the Garland County Detention Center for 26 charges including aggravated robbery, theft and fleeing.

The video shows Estell on the phone in the booking area, then jumping over a counter.

He then proceeded to run out of the building with a deputy running after him.

A woman identified as Tamara Upshaw, was waiting in a car nearby and sped off with Estell.

The get-away car was later found abandoned. 

Investigators have reasons to believe that others are involved in the planned escape and are working to confirm the information received and issue warrants for their arrest.
