SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- I hope you are hungry! These businesses are participating in National Pi Day! Blaze Pizza is offering a yummy pizza for $3.14, and due to the pandemic, the discount is available through April 12th to avoid large crowds. 7 Eleven is also offering the magic number of $3.14 for their pizzas! However, let’s say you are feeling sweets, Whole Foods is offering $3.14 off of any of their large pies.
But what about here locally?
Pizza Transit was established in 1987. Now located in Niles, the iconic pizza place puts on an iconic deal every single year. They celebrate National Pi Day with a medium 1 topping pizza pie for only $3.14 when you purchase any large pizza at regular price. Pizza Transit says they are expecting a big crowd for this year’s holiday! Even amid the pandemic, the restaurant is grateful for the communities continued support.
“Better than ever, we love all of our customers, and we love everybody in Niles and everyone is so great, we just really appreciate everybody,” says Harley Scoggin, employee of Pizza Transit. “Every March 14th is insane, but we are excited to see everyone in here.”
It is dine in and carry out only, so you are encouraged to come and dine in. The discount cannot be redeemed via delivery. For information regarding Pizza Transit, visit here.
