Cemetery exhumes another body in Benton Harbor

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- There was another body exhumed at Crystal Springs Cemetery in Benton Harbor.

Cemetery workers dug up the grave of Dorothy Austin who died more than three years ago.

The family asked for the cemetery to do it after several reports of mismanagement at the cemetery.

They claim Austin's tombstone was moved 80 yards away from the plot they bought.

The family said if there was a mistake, the cemetery should have owned up to it.

"A simple apology would have been fine.  You could have had us come out and say, 'This is where she was," instead of going through all of this," said David Gray, Austin's son-in-law.

This is the second exhumation at Crystal Springs. At least one other family is asking for one too.
