Chance for showers later today

You won't need to use an umbrella out the door this Friday morning, but there is a chance for showers in the second half of today.

Rain and a few thunderstorms continue overnight tonight.

Saturday morning plans could be a bit wet, but it should stay mostly dry Saturday afternoon. It's warm and muggy to kick off the weekend, with a high in the upper 80s.

Sunday isn't quite as warm, but there are rain showers and thunderstorms scattered through the day. There is not currently any severe risk for the storms Sunday.

Next week is still trending mostly dry. It will get hot, with highs jumping near the 90 degree mark several days.
