The excessive heat and humidity lasts today through Saturday with Excessive Heat Warnings and Watches issued across our region. This is fuel for possible thunderstorm this afternoon, which could be strong to marginally severe. It will depend on how well storms to our west hold together. The hottest days are expected to be Friday and Saturday, with heat indices ranging from 105 to 110 degrees! A cold front brings relief on Sunday, along with showers and thunderstorms. Next week is cooler and much more comfortable.
