Charges filed against Plymouth man who led police on a wild chase

SOUTH BEND, Ind.—The St. Joseph county prosecutor filed formal charges, Thursday, against a Plymouth man who led police on a wild chase.

Duane Longacre, 27, is charged with seven counts; including theft, resisting police, and possession of chemicals used to make meth.

Early Tuesday morning, police say that Longacre led them on a high-speed chase in a stolen car.

The chase ended when Longacre crashed into the St. Joseph River in Mishawaka.
