Charles Jackson arrested for third time in less than three weeks

The South Bend man accused of kidnapping his ex-girlfriend’s granddaughter has been arrested for a third time in just over 2 weeks.

Jackson was arrested at 7:11 a.m. Thursday morning on S. High Street on preliminary charges of criminal trespass, violation of a protective order and stalking, a level 6 felony.

He was arrested after someone called South Bend Police about a suspicious person driving through the Miami Hills apartment complex.

The driver was identified as Jackson.

Jackson is being held at the St. Joseph County jail.

Jackson was arrested for the first time September 24th on the kidnapping charge. He was also arrested on October 2 for invasion of privacy.
