Chef Boyardee products recalled due to incorrect labels

The United State Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service has recalled around 2,800 pounds of Chef Boyardee products.

The products are labeled as chicken and rice products but actually contain beef ravioli instead.

The products were packaged and produced on Jan. 16, 2019.

The food bowls could contain milk and other allergens that are not written on the labels.

Those with the recalled products can throw them away or return them to the place of purchase for a refund.

The following is information about the recalled product:

  • 7.5 oz. canned microwavable bowls of “Chef BOYARDEE rice with chicken & vegetables”
  • Package code is 210090151050045L
  • ‘BEST BY’ date of Jul082020 on the bottom of the bowls
