Chicago Cubs post highest-scoring game since 1995 with 23 runs

ABC 57 CHICAGO -- It's a massive day at Wrigley Field.
The Chicago Cubs posted a 23-3 win against the San Diego Padres. It's the highest scoring game the franchise has seen since 1995, when the team posted 26 against the Rockies.
This also ties the franchise record for scoring at a home game, as well as sets the franchise record for home runs in a single home game at eight.
