Chicago Cubs radio broadcaster to speak at South Bend Cubs Foundation’s First Pitch Banquet

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Chicago Cubs radio broadcaster and former Major League Baseball player Ron Coomer will serve as the special guest speaker at the South Bend Cubs Foundation’s First Pitch Banquet in January. The event will be held January 25 at the 1st Source Bank Performance Center in Four Winds Field.

Proceeds from the banquet go toward the South Bend Cubs Foundation’s mission to support baseball players in pursuit of their careers.

The event is only for those ages 21 and older. Tickets start at $60 each, though a limited number of VIP tickets are available for $80 and include a meet and greet with Coomer.

Groups of eight can purchase a table for $450. All tickets include access to food stations, water and soda. Alcohol is available for purchase.

Also included at the event is a silent auction and special raffle. One of the raffle prizes is four tickets to a Chicago Cubs game and a special behind the scenes visit to the Wrigley Field Press Box with Coomer. Raffle tickets can be purchased during the banquet.
