Chicago hits 400 homicides

CHICAGO -- It has been a deadly year in Chicago.
So far there have been 400 homicides. That's up 25 percent from 2011.
And with three months left in 2012, officials fear that number will only go up.
It is believed that the number could be closer to 500 by the end of the year.
