Chicago police looking for person who shot 8 people on south side

CHICAGO -- It was another day of violence in the Windy City.
Chicago police are looking for the person responsible for shooting eight people on the city's south side on Friday.
Police say the victims' ages range from 14 to 20.
The shooting happened on 79th Street, a well-known area for gangs.
Police followed a blood trail to a nearby hotel room.
But when SWAT storm the room, nobody was there.
