Sunny skies and warmer highs: quiet weather ahead
Temperatures tonight will be falling into the upper 30's across Michiana with partly cloudy skies. Dry conditions will continue into tomorrow with highs in the upper 50's and some sunshine early in the day, although clouds will be increasing throughout the afternoon. Things turn nastier starting Monday, when lake effect rain showers and potentially some snowflakes move through the region following a cold front that passes through on Sunday. Chances for lake effect showers are expected to last into Tuesday night. The cold front will also bring breezy conditions for Sunday with gusts up to 25 mph and windy conditions for Monday and Tuesday with gusts nearing 35 mph. Skies will start to dry out Wednesday morning.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 38.
Sunday: Partly cloudy, breezy. High 57.
Monday: Lake effect afternoon rain and snow showers, windy. High 41.
Tuesday: Lake effect rain showers, windy. High 43.
