Is "Oppenheimer" on its way to becoming the most successful R-rated movie ever?
If it continues its current trend, it's very possible.
Director Christopher Nolan's movie has now grossed more than $850 million dollars worldwide.
"Oppenheimer" is currently right behind the DC film "Joker", which is the current highest grossing R-rated film ever, grossing over $1 billion dollars worldwide, in its 2019 release.
Analysts predict that if "Oppenheimer" continues to have the success it's having, it could very well beat "Joker", and become the most successful R-rated film of all time.
