CINCINNATI— Firefighters rescued a dog from inside of a wall in a Cincinnati garage over the weekend.
Ladder 20 captured the moment a firefighter used a sledgehammer to finish breaking the concrete block wall on video.
Firefighter Jenny Adkins then reached in and pulled the dog to safety.
Gertie, the dog, had been missing for five days. She has since been reunited with her owners.
Firefighters believe Gertie had fallen down a crevice and became trapped between two concrete walls.
