MISHAWAKA, Ind.— Cinemark Movies 14 in Mishawaka is scheduled to reopen on July 10 as part of a phased reopening plan released by the movie theater chain.

While movie theaters in Indiana were allowed to reopen in June at 50% capacity, many theaters have delayed reopening amid concerns over  the spread of COVID-19.

The theater at 910 W. Edison Road will reopen with increased sanitation practices, available hand sanitizer and seat wipes, and improved overall air quality by expanding the use of high-efficiency filters.

Employees will be provided with face masks and gloves and participate in wellness checks before their shifts start.

The theater will also reduce its auditorium capacities and stagger show times to prevent overcrowding and lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.

Contactless ticketing will be encouraged for guests.
