City in final talks for zoo partnership

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — The city of South Bend is in final negotiations with the Potawatomi Zoo about a public-private partnership.
The city released a statement stating that the partnership will provide effective long-term management for the zoo.
It will also outline a pay structure for zoo staff members.
Potawatomi Zoo is the oldest zoo in the state.
