City of Elkhart and AMP group at odds over downtown ampitheater

ELKHART, Ind. -- The Elkhart AMP group, a non-profit organization that was working to develop the downtown Elkhart Amphitheater has announced today that it's pulling its support and $20 million investment from the project.

The City of Elkhart announced this project in the spring of last year, hoping to have it completed by the summer 2025.

The vision was an 8,000-seat amphitheater that would help boost the local economy in Elkhart.

As the plans seemingly fall apart, ABC57’s Ryan Jaghab is live at the Central Green property with more details tonight at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.
