ELKHART, Ind. -- Elkhart celebrated the new playground Thursday at Weston park, families came out to participate in the celebration of a new playground. There were fun activities and Kona Ice provided by the Elkhart Parks and Recreation.
This is part of a larger city wide effort to reinvest in local parks across Elkhart, 6 parks will be upgraded or built. This aims to provide more recreational opportunities and designed to be inclusive, fun and safe for children of all ages.
