City of Goshen and EPA trying to find groundwater contaminant source

GOSHEN, Ind. -- The city of Goshen is working with environmental agencies to find the source of contaminated ground water in the north wellfield.

The city first found out about the contaminated water during a 2015 test conducted by the Goshen water and sewer department.

The EPA are conducting further investigations as part of an agreement with the Indiana Department of Environmental Management.

Goshen says the water is safe to drink.
