La Porte to hold first-ever LakeFest this summer

Photo courtesy of Facebook/ City of La Porte LA PORTE, Ind.—The City of La Porte announced on its Facebook page Friday that it will host its inaugural LakeFest this summer.
The festival will take place from July 30 through August 1 and will feature three days of music, art and food on La Porte’s Pine, Stone and Clear lakes.
On Saturday and Sunday of the event weekend, AquaX Jet Ski races will take place on Stone Lake.
Concerts, activities for kids, markets, fireworks and more will take place during the event.
More details on performers and schedules will be announced “soon,” according to the event’s website.
