SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The city of South Bend held an electric vehicle event Thursday to highlight the recent investments the city made in Electric vehicle infrastructure.
The city is utilizing local resources and receiving grants to expand access to charging stations to align with its community EV infrastructure plan. South Bend has installed 7 charging stations and plans to add two more at Boland Park and Veterans Memorial, and has received a grant for a tenth station.
This initiative supports the city's goals of reducing emissions, improving air quality, and transitioning to cleaner vehicles.
