City renames street for St. Patricks Day

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The city of South Bend is getting into the Irish spirit for Saint Patrick's Day. Wednesday, South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg temporarily renamed a downtown street for the event.

Jefferson Boulevard has been temporarily renamed St. Patrick’s Boulevard.

Friday there’s a tent party.

Saturday is the annual parade and 5K race.

The city even plans to use a non-toxic dye to turn the East Race green.
