City temporarily renames Michigan Street to All-Star Drive

SOUTH BEND, Ind.—The City of South Bend temporarily renamed Michigan Street on Monday to All-Star Drive as part of the festivities surrounding the 2019 Midwest League All-Star Game.
This is the first time in 30 years that South Bend has hosted the All-Star Game.
“I think this is more than just about baseball. Coming out to Four Winds Field is about families and friends coming together and making memories. Even during the season watching games, a lot of people can’t remember the score of the game after they leave but they do remember they had a good time,” said South Bend Cubs Owner Andrew Berlin during the renaming.
