Clay Fire conducts HAZMAT training

The Clay Fire Department conducted HAZMAT training with the C-Shift on Monday.

They will be training throughout the month for their required annual training.

The scenario on Monday included a 55-gallon drum that was punctured by a forklift. A person was down and the chemical poured onto them.

The fire department practiced capturing the chemical and plugging the holes in the drug.

Around 100 firefighters will go through the training this month.
