Clearing skies with fog possible Thursday morning
ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Wednesday, September 25, 2024
A few more isolated showers are possible early this evening across southeast Michiana, but most of the area will just stay partly cloudy. Temperatures will fall through the 60s and 50s overnight as skies clear. Depending on how fast stubborn clouds move out overnight, some fog is possible to start Thursday. Thursday and most of Friday will be dry and mostly cloudy with highs in the 70s. Friday will also be breezy, especially near the start of high school football.
We're watching Hurricane Helene closely, as it could bring us some rain this weekend. At this point, the biggest impacts (and most of the rain) will stay south of Michiana. There could be a brief shower Saturday morning, but the higher rain chances arrive late Saturday night. The weather should be more "gloomy" than impactful for the Notre Dame football game. Occasional rain showers could be in the cards for Sunday with highs in the middle 70s. Depending on the exact path of Helene, some rain could linger into Monday as well. Next week looks even cooler with highs in the upper 60s and low 70s.
Tonight: Isolated showers early, then clearing skies overnight. Fog possible by morning. Low 52.
Tomorrow: Mostly cloudy. High 76.
Friday: Cloudy and breezy. A few rain showers possible late at night. High 77.
Saturday: A few rain showers in the morning possible, then cloudy. High 78.
