Clock ticks as search area expands for Malaysian flight

The clock continues to tick as the search area for the missing Malaysian flight expands.

The search area is more than 3-million-square miles but more countries are teaming up to cover the area.

The mystery is becoming more complex because Malaysian officials have offered information on the timeline of events that don't add up.

"With the turns this airplane made, even if we don't know the altitudes, someone was very definitely in control of this airplane and knew what they were doing," said Aviation Consultant John Nance.

Investigators have zeroed in on the captain and co-pilot.

Hijacking has not been ruled out.

They have a little more than two weeks left before the batteries in the black box go dead.
