Closure on Olive Street gets rescheduled

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The closure of Olive Street from Lincoln Way West to Hartzer Street has been rescheduled to begin on Monday.

Due to recent weather conditions, this closure, originally scheduled to be completed on Thursday, is now expected to begin on Monday.

This portion of Olive Street will close to install storm sewers as a part of the Lincoln Way West and Olive Streetscape Project.

The detour routes will be Hartzer Street and Meade Street through Bonds Avenue.

Weather permitting, this portion of Olive Street is estimated to be reopened by the end of the day on September 29.
