Clothing drive announced for southwest Michigan

LANSING, Mich. — State Senator Kim LaSata on Friday announced “Kim’s Coat Drive for Kids,”a clothing drive aimed at obtaining and distributing coats for children throughout southwest Michigan.

There will be thirteen locations throughout Berrien, Cass and St. Joseph Counties where residents will be able to donate.
In a press release, Senator LaSata said:

“As the temperatures begin to cool, many kids throughout Southwest Michigan find themselves without a warm jacket that fits. That’s why I am inviting Southwest Michiganders to join me this month for Kim’s Coat Drive for Kids. Please consider donating new and gently used coats and jackets for kids at participating locations in in our communities.”

The coats will be donated to children in the 21st Senate District.
