Cloudy Friday with a few afternoon showers

Clouds are back today as we wrap the week. There’s a chance for some light rain showers this afternoon, and possibly a thunderstorm which could bring a quick downpour. Otherwise, rain totals unfortunately will be low.

Rain should wrap up before the time the sun is setting, so anyone hoping to light Friday night fireworks should be okay.

There’s plenty of sunshine Saturday and Sunday.

Monday for the Fourth of July will warm near 90 degrees. There’s a chance for rain and thunderstorms starting late Monday, which could linger into parts of Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
