Coach Brey joins the fight against heart disease

NOTRE DAME -- Notre Dame Men’s basketball coach Mike Brey is joining the fight against heart disease.

Heart disease is the number one killer in America.

Coach Brey teamed up with the American Heart Association to help launch Men of Heart.

The first event is next Wednesday at the Joyce Center.

Men can learn about nutrition, heart risk factors and the game of basketball.

"That's my goal. To have guys come back to me after a couple months of learning some little changes, not big things, little things, that they say man I felt better. What else can I do? Are you doing it next year, because I am coming back," said coach Brey.

The Tip-off for Heart event is open to men 21 years and older.

Tickets are $145 per person.
